What a fab day we had last Saturday at St Illtyd’s Church in Llantwit Major and then at St Donat’s Castle afterwards.
We arrived at the church in plenty of time which was just as well because the people of Llantwit Major were holding a Victorian fair and had closed most of the roads into the village. Thankfully Matt the groom was already there waiting, while most of the guests had arrived by coach shortly after.
Weather could have been a lot kinder to us but at least it was warm and kept dry for most of the day. It was great to be working alongside an old friend and professional photographer Sacha Miller from Sacha Miller Photography. It certainly makes all the difference for us when working with somebody we know.
The Bride arrived and looked absolutely stunning, along with her Bridesmaids and the rest of her Bridal Party. The service was carried out by the new appointed vicar Craig and he made everyone feel very welcome. After the service we went on to the fabulous St Donat’s Castle where the reception was held. The castle looked fab and a good time was had by all.
